Before sending us an email or placing an order, please read these questions. They contain a collection of the answers to the most common questions customers ask about ordering replacement parts.

Extension Ladders
Question Ladder is too old to recover model number and mark number and I need a rung lock kit. What should I order?
Unfortunately if the ladder is too old to recover the model number and mark number (Mk) it is not guaranteed that any of the lock kits will work for your ladder. Werner has manufactured a number of ladder locks over the years and even within their own ladders, different locks will not work with different ladders.
   
Question My ladder is an aluminum extension ladder and I need a lock spring replacement kit.  What part # should I order?
We will need to know the mark number (Mk) and model number for your ladder, as there are different spring kits, depending on the MK number.....for the same model of ladder.
   
Question I have an OLD Werner Ladder model D-1120-2, Saf-T-Master Household and I need a Rung Lock Kit and End Caps Kit.  Will the items 25-2 and 28-2 fit on my ladder?
We cannot be sure that the parts you want to order will indeed fit your ladder due to its age. You can continue and place the order but these parts are not returnable.  
   
Question The labels on the ladder have all faded. It is an orange 24' ladder and the flippers are light green…… Should I order the flipper kit:  29-1?
We do not believe Werner ever made a "green" flipper kit. If you can identify your ladder as a Werner product, then this would be the correct part.
   
Question I have a Werner 16 foot extension ladder model number D1216-2 with no mark number and I just ordered a 28-11. Is that correct?
The 28-11 model you ordered is for an 8" long lock....if your lock is 8" long, then you have ordered the correct part. However, since you do not have a mark number (Mk) i...have you measured your locks...if you have the 12" long locks, then you would need to order the part (28-3) instead.
   
Question I have a Werner 36' aluminum ladder, about 32 years old, Model D-1536-2, 250 lb. rated. No mark number visible and I want to order a lock spring kit (29-4S).
There are no longer springs or parts available for a ladder of this age. 
   
Question I have a Model 7128-2 and the date of manufacture is unknown. What rung lock kit should I order?
Please measure your current locks…..and is the lock approximately 9" long, you should order the Round Rung Lock Kit: 28-9
   
Question My ladder is very old and I do not have the model information, but it is an aluminum extension ladder. The lower section where the feet are missing has a single hole in the middle of each side. The image of the part I want to order Safety Shoe Kit (26-2) looks like it should work.
Unfortunately we will need to know the model number and the mark number (Mk) for your ladder.
   

Stepladders
Question I have a Model 366-5, this is a 30 year old ladder, please confirm that the Foot Assembly Kit  21-3 will fit.
We cannot guarantee the item (21-3) will fit your 30 year-old ladder.
   
Question I’d like to order a spreader replacement kit, but the labels on both ladders have been damaged to the point of barely legible. Even the weight rating is difficult to read. Is there any other method of identification? Suppose a photo of the existing?
Without a "specific" model number and mark number (Mk), and because the spreader replacement kits for Werner ladders have changed occasionally, we cannot recommend that any of the kits will work for your ladder. Unfortunately, a photo will not work...again, because there have been modifications to the spreader latches over the years.

Question Do you sell replacement parts for Lousiville or Keller ladders?
No. We only sell replacement parts for Werner and Green Bull Ladders.
   
Question I am attempting to repair the ladder listed below: Cuprum aluminum Model 387 - 40’ Industrial Type “I” Duty Rating 250 lbs . Should I order a Lock Spring Kit (29-4S)?
No. The part you want to order (29-4S) is only for Werner ladders and will not work on your Cuprum model.
   
Question Although I cannot find a model number on my ladder, I compared it to one at my local store, and the D1300 looked quite similar, so I feel the 28-3 locks should work. 
Without being able to identify your ladder as a Werner extension ladder...we would discourage you from trying to retrofit the rung lock kit (28-3) you want to order.  All the replacement parts kits we sell are for Werner ladders only.
   
Question I have a 20' Reynolds Extension Ladder.  Will the Swivel Shoe Kit: 36-12 fit on my ladder?
No. We only sell replacement parts for "Werner" ladders; and we are not able to identify a 20' Reynolds ladder as a Werner Ladder.  
   
Question My ladder is not a Werner brand, but it is a Cuprum 21 foot Model 385 Aluminum Extension Type III.  I'm sure the end caps are the same; they look identical.  Please advice.
The End Cap Kits are for the Werner product only...and even though they might look the same, they are not likely to work. Since you have a Cuprum ladder, you might contact the manufacturer (Louisville Ladder) to see if they might be able to help you.
   
Question I’d like to order a Foot Replacement Kit (36-83) for my Louisville Attic ladder - AA259GS. Would this kit work?
No. We only sell products for the Werner ladders, and you have indicated you have a Louisville product. We would discourage you from trying to adapt another manufacturer’s product to your ladder. However, if you choose to place the order, the item is non returnable.
   
Question Will the Inner Lock Replacement Kit (36-32) fit a Gorilla adjustable ladder?  I do not have an item number to give you, but I have taken measurements and this appears it will work.
These inner locks will only work on Werner Ladders.  Even if the dimensions do look similar it is more than likely that they will not fit correctly.
   
Question Can I order a Counter Balance Mechanism (55-1) for my Keller Attic Ladder?
The 55-1 will NOT work for your ladder.  We don’t sell replacement parts for Keller ladders.

Attic Ladders
Question If individual "Pivot Plates" are not available, how do I install a Counter Balance Mechanism: 55-1?
You must reuse your current pivot plates. 
   
Question I have a Werner Attic Ladder and need a Counter Balance Mechanism. What part # should I order?
If your ladder was manufactured before February 2006 by Kentucky Ladder for Werner, you will need a 55-1
   
Question I have an old attic ladder and I need a Counter Balance mechanism. I have no information on the ladder and I’m not sure who the manufacturer is, but the picture of mechanism (55-1) looks identical to mine.
You would need to have a Werner ladder for this product to work. This kit will only work with the Werner ladders, and is not a "universal" product for all manufacturers.
   
Question I have a S2210 (Mk 5) and need a strut replacement kit, but I cannot find it on your site.
Models S2208 and S2210 have been DISCONTINUED and struts are NOT LONGER AVAILABLE.
REPLACEMENT HINGES or replacement parts for these models are NOT available. Please call Werner directly at 888-523-3371.
   
Question Can I order a Counter Balance Mechanism (55-1) for my Keller Attic Ladder?
